What Customers Say About In Silico:

Yes, you should. Granite and other songs has a rock-like feel, while other songs were the Drum and Bass that made them famous. For the longest time, Pendulum was my favorite band. If you like rock, and you like drum and bass this is a perfect blend which is very fun to just pump up. This CD is a sort of departure for them, as they really make a move in the direction of the heavier more rock based music. That said, it is very very good music that is here, but it isn't drum and bass, for the most part.Should you get it. If you want pure drum and bass though, there is still Noisia and Spor. If you want something new, this is it.

they are absolutely amazing live. So good for them.A good album, not great, but good.

Most of the negative comments seem to be "it's not Drum'n'Bass enough".Well, maybe that's true. But I'm not a genre fanatic purist and God forbid that I ever should be.

Interesting how many comments here are from people who bought this on the strength of their first album. They've proved they have a lot more talent waiting to be mined. And I think for every disgruntled D'n'B purist they lose as a fan, they'll gain a dozen more "general music" fans with the right exposure.

Drum'n'Bass is fine as far as it goes, but it must get pretty boring playing variations on the same narrow style of music every day. So Pendulum have tried to expand their repertoire and I'm glad they have.

Should win them a lot of new fans. And of course. I defy anyone, no matter what their taste in music, not to be energized by them.

It's been the CD in my player 99% of the time since I bought it, I just let it loop. I just can't get enough, it's that good. Imho, it's a step up from Hold Your Colour, which itself was awesome.

You get candy.I found this band by accident.I downloaded their Colours album.I liked it.I downloaded this one.I liked it.

I don't usually listen to dance/electronica which is what I would say this is but its got more attitude than what I'd expect. I will definitely check out their first album (that others say its better is hard to believe).

I got it after hearing one of their songs used in a Formula 1 video and had to find out what it was. It turned out to be Propane Nightmares which is awesome.

I really like this album. My initial feelings were great, I only like one song (Propane) but give it time, its really great and worth a look.

The guys who put together the video did a great job matching it with the action onscreen, do check it out, I must have watched it a million times and I still hear the engines racing even when I listen to the CD, LOL.[.]. (play the BELGIUM vid)Much to my surprise, after listening to the CD for awhile, I ended up liking just about all of it.

I mostly listen to rock/alt myself, Radiohead and Muse are 2 of my favs. Plus being a child of the 80's, the sounds of synthesizers brings me back to the music of that decade along with memories of playing videogames (and yes I love that classic midi-style music).
